Following the success of his previous album, Work of Art, Asake wanted his next project, Lungu Boy, to make a bold statement. Unlike his previous album covers, which had a more playful and vibrant aesthetic, Lungu Boy needed to convey a raw, serious, and unfiltered version of Asake—one that reflected his evolution as an artist and his unwavering presence in the industry.
Undeniable was tasked with translating this vision into a single, powerful image—an album cover that would resonate deeply with his audience and mark a new chapter in his artistic journey.
To bring this vision to life, we reached into our local talent pool and formed a a top-tier creative team, including a photographer, lighting crew, location scouts and image grader. Every element of the cover was intentionally curated to enhance Asake’s presence without distractions.
Rather than relying on elaborate set designs or excessive elements, we focused entirely on Asake’s expression—his intensity, his focus, and the depth of his journey. This approach allowed the audience to connect directly with his energy, reinforcing the message that Lungu Boy is not just another album—it’s a declaration.
The final album cover became a defining visual for Asake’s new era. Its striking simplicity and bold execution resonated with fans and critics alike. Most notably, Lungu Boy went on to receive a Grammy nomination, a milestone that further cemented Asake’s global impact and marked a proud moment for Undeniable.
